Our Story

We have over 25 years of experience in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for people with developmental disabilities, particularly autism. When we started our clinic, Integrated Behavioral Solutions, we were two of only three certified Behavior Analysts in Georgia. Now, our practice includes more than 50 Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians.

Despite our growth, though, the number of children in our state who need autism treatment continues to exceed the increase in providers. That’s why we are partnering with Kadiant. This partnership allows us to significantly expand our services in the Atlanta metro area. In fact, in the coming months we will be opening at least two new clinics in Gwinnett and Forsyth counties, in addition to our existing clinic in Fulton county.

Get Started

Intake

  1. Complete an Intake Form, which includes your (a) address and (b) preferred therapy schedule.  These are the two factors that most affect how quickly services can begin—individuals with flexible schedules, in particular, and those who live in or near the metro Atlanta area are less challenging to begin quickly. Once your intake form has been submitted, an IBS staff member will contact you to answer any questions and to provide a copy of our Service Agreement.
  2. Complete and sign a Clinic Service Agreement (for Clinic-based services) or an In-Home Service Agreement (for in-home services), which includes consents to evaluate and release confidential records and information.  The Service Agreement also includes detailed information about expectations for you, your Behavioral Therapist(s), and your Board Certified Clinical Supervisor(s).
  3. The next step will be to begin gathering assessment information.  These assessments are not used for diagnostic purposes, but rather to build an individualized, detailed, and comprehensive curriculum for the individual learner.  These assessments may include a Reinforcer Inventory and a Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) assessment or an Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS) assessment, and possibly a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA).
  4. As described on the Science of ABA page, implementing a state-of-the-art ABA program includes the precision measurement of skills/behaviors targeted for change.  The amount of paperwork associated with this measurement (e.g., data entry, graphing, team/planning meetings, materials preparation, assessment updates, program adjustments, and various other essential program components) may vary between sessions, but can generally represent about 10-15% of total cost.

As an alternative to “paper-and-pencil” data collection, IBS utilizes Catalyst for data collection and management, reducing data/paperwork costs/time by approximately 60%, on average.  IBS customers receive a 25% discount on Catalyst subscriptions, which are required.  Further information about Catalyst can be found here.
